This ancient and wise saying was one of David Ogwe's favourite; He had an image of it next to his desk for many years. We feel it sums up David's attitude to hard times, and how he brought an abundance of positive energy wherever he went.

We know that David's death has deeply affected many of you. David's funeral shall be on the 2nd of February 2021 at 12:30 pm. Only a few family members and close friends can attend the service due to COVID-19 restrictions.

David's family invite everyone who wishes to pay their respects to take a few quiet moments at 12:30 to honour him. Maybe do as the saying suggests by lighting a candle; do this to remember David and remind yourself of the wisdom and positivity he brought to our community.
